An Important Note about the Cost

Thank you to the historical support of our community to keep this festival growing and thriving! This year, we have been fortunate to receive a grant from 4Culture, enabling us to offer subsidized registration fees and screening tickets for 2025. We are also using the money to purchase and refurbish cameras and offer scholarships to community members in need who would like to participate. If you would like to request a scholarship, please email GS8filmfestival@gmail.com.

The film fee covers the cost of this processing.  If you are able, please make a tax deductible donation of $50, or more (anything is appreciated) to cover the rest of the expenses the project incurs, helping you make your film, and to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, is able to participate.
